Subject: My Network Places Display OS: XP Professional CPU/Ram: AMD XP-260

Comment: I just networked 3 PCs and all is well. However at My Network Places, I deleted all the folders displayed under my own computer name. Now I cannot see my own computer name displayed at My Network Places. I can still see the other 2 computer names and its folder that were opened for sharing. How do I restore seeing my own computer name as well and it folders ?

Reply: (edit)Check to see if you deleted your shares. Re-establish them if you did. Sharing is what puts the computer name in the browse list.
