Solved My internet connection has become weak and slow

Specs: Windows 7, AMD FX 8150/8gb ram
My ISP tested my connection and told me my signal is very weak. I can no longer play games online because I lag tremendously. I can't steam videos while someone else is using the internet either. Also I can't access it on wireless devices unless I am in view of the router. I'm not sure what caused my connection to suck but I need help on how to fix this. I have the essential plan from cox.com. When I test my connection on speedtest.com I average 75ms/ping, 3.25mbps/dwnld spd, and .75mbps/upld spd.

Well did they have any advice on correcting the problem?

You have not provided much information on which to base a response. What type of connection do you have? Cable? ADSL? Dialup? 3G?
Others share the connection but what make/model Modem and Router do you have?
How many others share the connection and what type of activity are they doing?
Gaming? Downloading from filesharing sites? Video streaming?
Have you tried a direct cable connection rather than wireless? There are lots of things that can interfere with wireless signals. Do you have a cordless phone somewhere nearby or solid or metal framed walls?

There are no known factors that are interfering with my connection. I'm having a specialist come out tomorrow. Thanks for answering.
