My computers keep bumping each other off..

Linksys Wrt54g2 wireless g router

Specs: Windows Vista
I am running a Linksys Wireless-G Router. I have three computers, two are Windows Vista (one is a laptop), one Windows XP (desktop). They are all setup to be wireless. I also have an Xbox and a Wii, but I use cables for those. I have a signal booster that I have installed in the house, because our router is somewhat far from where our office is.

My issue is that I can't seem to have two computers online at once. It is REALLY annoying. My wife and I run a home business, and we can't work together. Whenever I logon my laptop, her desktop loses the network connection. When we reset her connection, my laptop gets booted a few minutes later. It is the most annoying thing ever!!! How do I fix this? I am not a networking guru. I know a bit. So lamens terms when possible would be nice. What settings should I be checking on the router? Is it an IP issue? I am at a loss.

Also, sometimes we just continually lose connection, even with just one computer on. It seems to be on for a few minutes, then it loses the connection, we reset, and it all happens again.

Also if it helps, we have Comcast Cable Internet.

Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.

the issue could be with the wireless if the desktop runs using wireless G
and the laptop wireless N your router will kick the G off when the N connects and Same N kick off when G connects

The first thing I would check is in the router, to see if DHCP is enabled. Then in each machine, run CMD, type ipconfig /all, and see that it is enabled there as well.

to add to pautl1149's suggestion I would do the ipconfig when your pc is live and when you wifes pc is line not when they have lost connection.
