multiple wireless router in a LAN

I had set up a wireless LAN, with a wireless netgear router linked to DSL. Now I get an extra identical wireless router. Can I use it in my existing LAN, so I can network more computers (with non-wireless LAN cards) in another room? Will there be any conflicts between the 2 identical routers?

If the wireless routers have regular RJ45 connections(wired)on them, you shouldnt have a problem. If they do the best way to do this is to connect get a network cables link the two routers together threw the RJ45 this will allow both routers to have access to the internet. Then it would not matter witch router the wireless PC connects on, and with the existing RJ45 connections you can run line to the wired machines. As far as identity the wireless routers may be the same brand and model, but there is always a difference. The difference is the internal MAC address of the router that will make them different. And if you have windows xp you can choose which wireless router to connect to so you can get the best connection.

You can but only one router will be online. The other can only be used for the network w/o internet. Maybe to share files and/or printer(s). The routers cant talk together wireless. Well maybe if you put a wireless PCI nic in one of the other machine in the other room then run a wire from the wired nic on the same machine to the router maybe you could set something up that way.
