Multiple versions of the same drive

Every morning when I come into work, and sometimes during the day, I will be passing through "My Computer" and on to a network drive that houses almost all of my work. Lately, I've been noticing that this drive lists itself more than once in 'My Computer'. For a while it was just on three drive letters. I would just click Disconnect Network Drive and remove the faulty ones. Today when I came in, I had about 8 versions of this same drive. Of course, I went and disconnected all of them, because that's just how I am, but I was wondering if anyone had seen this happen before, and if so, how did you fix it? It's not really giving me any serious problems that I can see, but I am rather annoyed by it. Thanks in advance.

You may have a batch file that is running that connects the drive. Have you checked that?

There was an issue with the indexing service that resulted in what you describe. You would have to google that for the details.

That's the DLA component for your CD Burner. Are you using Sonic/Roxio by any chance?

Yeah, I figured out that it was the same group of programs. I still can't figure out what's making these clones pop up.
