Comment:

I have a Dell laptop running Win2k Pro. I want to be able to connect to more than one TCP/IP network with the internal NIC. Is there a way to set up more than one TCP/IP configuration for one NIC?

Thanx in advance,
Gary

yes, with a software called IPSwitch. Do an internet search for that name, you'll find it.

IPswitch is also a company, so searching the internet with this that name does not result in a nice freeware program. BUT.. it is not needed because w2k provides a solution itself. look at the microsoft knowledge base (http://search.support.microsoft.com/kb/c.asp?fr=0&SD=GN&LN=EN-US)for artikel Q257748. Its about using the w2k command NETSH.
