i have a ADSL network connection via Belgacom and have an ASUS USB Modem (connection and speed great no problems)i have just upgraded this to a Siemens SANTIS WIRELESS LAN Router (via PCMCIA for my laptop)does anyone know if its possible for me to use the ASUS USB Modem on my desktop (XP Pro P4/768) at the same time as my wireless connection on my laptop. I have 2 ADSL Phone splitters so hardware is not an issue.
Please advise.

I connect to the internet via comcast and can dial into my work pc via pcanywhere using the phone line. no problem.

So using cable/dsl and dialup at the same time is no issue.

unless you load a modem share program [3rd party] your laptop can't use the desktop modem at all.

not sure what you are thinking about the dsl splitters.

As i understand, he is trying to use 2 dsl modems, not a dialup. Dsl is using a specific frequency range. Then impossible to use two devices at the same time.
