I am currently having 2 networks at my end. In a Windows 2000 professional machine i have the option of adding multiple IPs to a single card. When i give 2 ips of different network on this machine i am able to ping both the networks but can't access the shared resources of the other network wht should i do??

If you can ping you don't need to route. After all the icmp packet got to the source and back, right?

Sounds more like you don't have a user account or rights to access this other network shares.
