Multiple IP address on one machine

if we have a range of static WAN ip address, but most are not used up and most are currently assigned to one machine. does that mean that if we have them assigned on the machine it will widen the possibility of this server being attacked when being screened? we experience high traffic recently.

I would think your firewall for this server would be the first line of defense. It sounds like this server is used as a router, yes? Make sure you have all the latest patches and fixes for this computer and a strong firewall and antivirus programs.
