How do I set up multiple computers to gain access to a single cable modem? I have a DSL router, but can only connect one computer at a time. Do i need to obtain individual IP addresses or connect all of the computers to a central server? Please help.

setup ICS. For more information, go to http://www25.brinkster.com/ChicagoTech >ICS setup.

It sounds like you only have a DSL modem not a router. If I'm wrong, let me know and I'll help you to get the router configured correctly.
I'd recommend using a DSL router instead of Robert's suggestion of using ICS, a router is easier to setup, more secure, and you won't need to have one of your computers acting as a host.
This link gives good explanations on setting up each method.

Robert,
I briefly looked at your web site and I was wondering why you didn’t include any info about the router setup?

U can use winproxy in ur setup so that multiple systems can work. check out www.winproxy.com for further info.it works similar to NAT
