Hi,
I have a very small request.
I have recently started using the VLC Media player which has video streaming capabilities and while I understand that it is possible to stream to a single IP address quite easily, I was quite taken in by its ability to multicast. I have my brother's wedding coming in the following month, and was just wondering if it is possible for me to share the wedding videos with relatives in various parts of the world by the process of multicating.
If this is indeed a feasible solution, can I request for a few steps to quickly be able to do so, including possibly the name of a free multicast server.
I have a broadband connection through cable which delivers 2mbps. Also run a HP Comapq laptop 6901 with 2 GB RAM and Win XP with SE2
Would love to hear from you.
Cheers
