Hi,
I have recently installed a U.S Robotics Broadband Router. Both of my computers are running WIN XP Pro and both can share files and access the internet.
However, when i try to connect to MSN Messenger, it does not log me in and when i try to access the internet again on my browser, i have no access to the internet what so ever.
I can only gain access again when i turn my Router off and back on again.
I don't know what else to do. Has any one experiencec similar problems and how can i resolve this.
*note, i am able to connect to MSN on web messenger.

Off the top of my head, I would check the firewall settings. XP SP2 does some stranges things sometimes.

I have done that. I turned the firewalls off and yet it still does the same thing.

Try connecting your PC to your modem w/o the router and see if you still have this problem. If it goes away it's something to do with the router; if not then it's something you've installed/updated/patched since you bought the router.
