Comment:

I have this laptop setup using a Motorola WR850GP wireless router to receive cable internet. I purchased a Motorola WPS870G wireless print server which after using the install wizard I cannot get it to see the print server. I believe I am not using the correct SSID for it but am lost at what should be used. Would appreciate any help available. I have read the instructions and reloaded many times and am still lost.

Dan

What's the default IP of the print server? Is it the same subnet as your internal network? If it isn't you have to change it by changing one of your machines to an IP on the default subnet of the print server. Then you can change the print server's IP and change the machine back. I hope that's clear.

Turned out that I needed to connect to the wireless router with an ethernet cable and the printer server at the same time to install. Afterwards I could disconnect the ethernet cable and all works wireless now.

Thanks
Dan
