I recently installed a Linksys G WAP and need more range. I've placed it in different places and it just cant reach the areas i need it to.

When i first bought my WAP, i bought two because i figured i would need them to cover my area. One of them almost does the job. So would i be better off buying a Pre-N AP/Router for the extra range or should i just setup the two G WAPs? I do have two other remote locations i could use the G's at.

So it's either buy an N for main location and use the two current G's i have at my remote offices

or

Setup the two G's at my main location and buy two more G's for my remote locations.

The only thing i am afraid of with the N WAP is i have read alot of mixed reviews. I'm worried more about range and constant connection than i am speed of the N.

Try buying high gain antennas for your G routers before sinking money in pre-N routers. For more information see: http://bill-mcminn.com/pchelp/bette...
