I have Sprint (now Embarq) ADSL. I recently got thnew modem they use through the mail and set it up. I share my connection through a linksys wireless router. The modem is called a 660 Series. I guess the new modem comes already pre-configured with your sprint password, because it took me a while to notice I had to have my linksys router set to DHCP instead of PPoe with my sprint username & password. Anyway, for some reason the sprint modem resets itself every 20 minutes or so and you have to wait a min. or so for the connection to be back up again. It looks like it's the modem resetting due to the indicator lights on it and not the router.

That sounds like a defective modem. Have you talked to sprint?

Give a person a fish you feed them for a day.
Ask a person to internet search and they learn a skill for a lifetime.
