After my client removed some spyware from their PC they can't connect to the internet via AOL or other dial up connection. I put a new dial-up ISP connection on their PC and it will dial and connect but it can't find any sites. IE doesn't work, Norton AV can't find its site. Aside from the 1-2K of data transferred at the start of the connection nothing else works.
The client usually uses AOL and that doesn't work either.
An ipconfig /all shows identical information to a PC with a working connection. The internet connection properties are identical on the two machines, no proxy is set up.
There's no firewall on the PC other than XP's ICF.

When they cleaned up their spyware, they may have inadvertantly deleted some registry keys. Do you know what program they used? Maybe you can recover from the quarantine file if there is one.
