i'm currently using a Thomson SpeedTouch 570 modem router.however it's giving me alot of problems for my gaming.this Speedtouch is wired to my personal computer and its is connected wireless to my sister.my question is can i get a ADSL modem only and connect the route to the modem so my sis can carry on using wireless.so my network would be something like this

Current configuration:
my computer -wired- Speeddtouch -wireless- Sister's computer

Proposed configuration:
my computer -wired- ADSL modem -wired- Speedtouch -wireless- sister computer

so we can see that the ADSL modem will be connected to my computer directly.any help?
