I have to Ethernet-cards in my pc. One wireless and one for rj45 cable. The wireless card (Dlink 520+) connects to Dlink 714P+ wireless router which connects do DSL-modem. Dhcp on router is disabled, use static ip in lan. A Linux Mandrake computer connects to the Xp with a crossover rj45. When i ping from Linux to Xp I get response, but not from xp to Linux. I suspect that xp tries to ping linux with the wireless card, but I'm not sure. My idea is to use the wireless internet connection in xp for the linux computer, but I have not been able to work it out. Ip for router is 192.168.0.2, xp-wireless is 192.168.0.180, for xp-"cablecard" is 192.168.0.181 and linux has 192.168.0.182.
When I bridge the lan-card and the wireless in xp, I loose my connection to the router and then again to Internet.
