I have been working on this for 15 hours straight and am at my wits end. I formatted my computer due to what I believe to be a virus of some sort. I cant get any internet after I formatted at all. BUT all the other computers in the house have internet connection just fine. in my device manager there is no network adapter listed. The ethernet controller is listed with an exclamation mark. I dont have the disk for my motherboard but have downloaded all the drivers I need for the board, chipset, sound, video and ethernet but nothing seems to work. I have the intel D87pbZ board. I went into my bios and my onboard lan is enabled. I am at a total loss here and dont know where to turn to next or what the heck to do to fix this. Can someone please help?

OS:Windows* 2000, Windows* XP Home Edition, Windows* XP Media Center Edition, Windows* XP Professional I suspect a corrupt download for the failure of NIC installation. M
