I used to have an icon in the Network Connections" that said "Internet Connection" and now it is missing. We have a Linksys router for our satellite and for a long time, this icon appeared in the taskbar to let me know whenever I had activity on the DW6000 modem (satellite) Now, it is gone and I cannot seem to get it back. uPnP and Internet Gateway device Discover and Conrol is checked in the "add-remove" Windows section, in the Network settings. Also checked is "simple TCP/IP" it too is checked. However I cannot get this icon to reappear in the Network Connections.
Any clue out there? Any registry settings missing or some corruption of the files somewhere?
Thanks Vernon jenefarm@direcway.com
