hey all, ive seen to run into a network problem which i cannot resolve. In network connections i recieve a media disconnected error on both of my onboard NIC's. This computer has always been a wired only connection and has worked great up until yesterday after installing a sound blaster Xi-fi sound card drivers.
since then i have tried mutliple layer 1 fixes such as new cables, and different ports on the router, as well as removing and uninstalling the sound card and its drivers. and reinstalling the nvidia network drivers which are used for the nics on my asus m2n_sli mobo. in cmd the loopback test works fine however there are no activity lights onmy nics and i am at loss as to what to do.
