I have a laptop with built in adapter for wireless networking g protocol. Now there is new router with n protocol in the market. does it work with my adapter in the computer or I will have to buy a new adapter for n router?

Now there is new router with n protocol in the market.

Really? Which router? What market? The N is still being developed and as yet been ratified as a standard. The only thing out there is pre-n product. I won't touch it.

When the final N is ratified and approved as standard it will be backward compatible with G and B devices.

It will be backward compatable you just won't have the features that N protocl will give you like faster transfer speeds and extended wireless distances . If you just use wireless to surf the web it will make absolutely no difference to you and actually 90% of the population , save your money !!!!
