Map network drive in windows 95

is there any way to map past \\server\share in windows 95? I need to map all the
way out to \\server\share\dept\user for my users home drives. Any pathes or
other ides? Please email me if you can think of anything.

did you get ananswer for this mapped drive problem as i have exactley the same problem at work. We have a win2k server and 98 clients and need to have mapped network drive to their user folders in a simalar path as yours. I have not been able to find the answer and wondered if you had. Please let me know either way ASAP as my boss is going to have my balls for breakfast !

There is a way. Is not pretty nor clever...but it works..

Share the folder user in \\server\share\dept and it will apears as \\server\user.
If U share it as user$ and it will be hidden.
And U have to map \\server\user$.
Maybe it will do ?
