Hi,

I want to install XP Pro, with 2 NICs and have it scan all network traffic for viruses. Can anyone tell me if this possible and how it might be done. I would also like to do the same with spyware, any ideas?

Thanks,
Adam

I have something like that setup using Trend Micro Client/Server Suite but the server is running server software (W2K Server). I don't think it can be done with just a workstation. Also, why do you need two NICs? Are there 2 different subnets?

I've never heard of an antivirus product that scans network traffic. It scans the workstations or the server (or all the above) but not traffic (ie: packets).

I'm with Curt. I think you need to clarify exactly what you want to have scanned.
