Specs: Windows XP, NA
So check this out:
Recently, I figured out that there is some sort of malware on the cable modem itself. When this computer was hooked up to a router with a few other computers, I noticed that when I search for something on Google, all the results will have something similar to: "". Notice the "sa=t&source=web&ct=res&cd=3&ved=0CBMQFjAC" part? That's malware. I scanned this computer for everything with many various software and removed everything harmful. But other computers on the network do the same exact thing for search strings.. EVEN an Apple computer does the same!! So I hooked this computer straight up to the cable modem itself and I still get this same annoying thing.. which leads me to concluding that the cable modem is 'monitoring' everything going on. The modem is a Linksys BEFCMU10. What do I do to fix this unreasonable idea of monitoring me?

Clearly some redirection is taking place. This maybe the result of your ISP bridging their network to you and they are the ones redirecting you. Post the results of an ipconfig /all for review.

BTW a modem is a simple device the modulates and demoduates signals. It in itself can not participate in redirection.
