Does anybody know wether i can use a router that uses dhcp on macs? Am i going to have to change the protocol configs from appletalk to tcp/ip or can i go around that. Mac OS 9.1. Thanx A Lot.

You can use any DHCP server to perform this task.

You can use any DHCP server, but Macs are finiky with DHCP. Sometimes they need to be rebooted more than once, and sometimes they won't pull an IP without being rebooted. And sometimes, they work fine, with no problems at all!
DHCP is a TCP/IP tool, so you will have to use TCP for connecting. What do you need DHCP for?
