lyksys router and comcast modem

alright we just switched from bellsouth dsl to comcast cable, we got this modem which plugs in to a regular cable outlet such as a tv would, and then plugs into a pc ethernet card. now what i need to know is how to setup the modem to plug into my linksys router so that all the other pcs in the house can get comcast also. or if that is not the case then i need to know which settings to use when cofiguring the router. when replyin to this keep in mind that i am 14 years old and sometimes a bit slow so if u could please explain things more thoroughly, thank you

If you had the router working with your DSL connection, it should be the same with cable. The only thing you might have to clone the MAC address of your computer that presently connects to the router and move the settings to the router.
