Low Level Wireless Information

Good Morning,

I'm working on a development project, and I've been having some trouble finding some information on the internet, and hope someone here might have some good info/links to the information.

Basically, I'm trying to find out at a low level how wireless routers work. I get all general (read high level) concepts, it broadcasts a signal, has a dhcp server running to assign IP addresses, etc. However, I need to find some low level information. Such as, when the wireless router is sending out the signal, including its SSID (assuming you have broadcasting enabled) what type of packet is it sending out? Is this a broadcast packet? What information is inside of it?

I've been searching for a while and can't seem to find that and other similar low level information out. If anyone has anything, I'd definitely appreciate it.

Sorry, but no. I already looked there. That is just basic high level stuff. That the wireless AP uses radio signals to broadcast its signal. I'm looking to find more logical low level information
