Hi there,

I need some help in solving this problem.

I have set up a network between two pcs using just a USB crossover cable and it's working fine (i.e i am able to share files etc). On comp1 i have a USB broadband modem connected to it and it's working fine. I also went and install this modem (and driver) on comp2 and are able to get internet connection on that comp (using the same usb cable and modem in comp1, just unplugging and plugging the usb into comp2).

The problem is when say i am connected to the net on comp1, and when i turn on comp2 my net connection is lost. It's like i cannot have two network connections running concurrently (one to the internet and the other to comp2). As soon as i turn on comp2, there is an automatic network connectivity to it, and this disconnects my other network connection (aka internet connection).

Anyone know why this is so?

btw, i'm using Xps on both machines
