lost my router

i cant get my router settings to load up in a browser using http://192.168.123.254, nor can i ping it. is there any other sets of #'s i could try to find it. i was checking the settings and the page froze, then i rebooted, now i cant find it.

Most routers have a reset. Use it and then use the default address.

already used the reset, still wont work w/default. thanks though

Is the router still giving out IP addresses via dhcp? If so check the ip address you are receiving. From Run in 95/98 type, winipcfg or at command prompt in later versions of windows type ipconfig /all
the address you see as the default gateway is the ip address of your router

Try flashing the firmware, this will definately set it back to default settings.

If you already have the latest version, just re-flash over it... and if you don't, then it would be a good time to upgrade :-)
