Lost my home network in XP Pro

I have two PC's running XP Pro,and viewing Network Connections shows that I'm connected.
However, IN My Network Places, i can't see the other PC (This is the same from both machines) It was working fine for a few months after upgrading one of the PC;s from XPHome to XP Pro.
I can ping the client from the host but not vice-versa. I've checked the IP Addressand it is OK. Is it easier to delete then re-install the Network, if anyone's done this please tell me how!
In case it's relevant, I've recently installed Norton AV2004

Is "File and Print Sharing" enabled on both machines ?
