Greetings all, I recently installed a VOIP router and added a computer to my internet connection (cable). I now have a problem and am not sure how or even if I can fix it. After waking the computer from standby, I have no internet connectivity, I need to reboot then things are fine. I had no such trouble when I had no router or second computer. Linsys says it's the ISP or my puter, and ISP says it's router or my puter. Any ideas folks? Lemme know if you need anymore info. I am using winxp on both puters and a linksys voip broadband router.

look at your nic cards properties. Uncheck the "let the system turn off the power to conserve power"
Give a person a fish you feed them for a day. Ask a person to internet search and they learn a skill for a lifetime.

Hey, thanks much for the response. I went through device manager and through network connections via control panel and can't find the "let the system turn off to conserve power" box. I'm sure it is just me being blind as a bat so I'll keep looking! :-)
