I recently bought a Linksys WRTP54G VOIP Router and have been having problems with it. I was previously using a Dynex wired router and didn't have a single problem.
Every now and then (could be 1 day or 1 week) I will lose internet connectivity. When I try to open IE or FireFox it will pause about 7 seconds and say, "Server not Found." However, file sharing still works with the other pc on the network, as well as a peer-to-peer program. I didn't have internet access but my P2P downloads continued going.
The only way I have found to fix this is to unplug the power on my router and plug it back in. I have tried doing this with my modem but it doesn't do anything. It will only work when I unplug my router.
Also, when I use the P2P program it says I might have a NAT problem.
I don't have a wireless device yet so I can't say whether I lose wireless signal when my wired connection loses connectivity.
I'm using Kaspersky Internet Security but I'm not sure if that's causing any problems with the new router. I have also disabled the firewall and continue to have these problems.
Not really sure what else to do. Any help would be much appreciated.

Your router is losing it's connection to the modem. That's why you're still able to access network services, but not the internet. Give linksys a call and let them know what's going on, and I'd recommend asking if there's any updates for your router's firmware. Linksys: 1-800-326-7114

I contacted Linksys about this matter and they are giving me crap about the router being out of warranty and want to charge me $32.95 for help, which I will not pay. The tech told me to try and upgrade the firmware but no firmware is available for this router. It says to contact the VOIP provider for firmware updates, which is Vonage.
The only problem is that I don't have phone service through them yet and won't for a few months. Any thoughts on how I could fix this w/o Linksys' help? Thanks.
