Hello All,

I have one problem regarding login to domain over WAN link. We have main network with Domain controller(win2003) at one site. And another branch office network with few computers. Both are connected through WAN.
Now when I tried to join any of these branch office PC to domain, it gives message like Domain controller for the specified domain could not be contacted. Do anyone have any idea? Any DNS setting or router setting to be done?\

Thanks
Sandip

can you ping your dns server via the wan? client tcp/ip entries pointing same?
Netbios enabled in tcp/ip?
No port blocking on the routers?

You know, the basics.

Ask a person to internet search and they learn a skill for a lifetime.
