Login Scripts

I've discovered a problem where certain PCs on my network seem to run old versions of their login scripts even though, as far as I'm aware, there is nowhere that these old versions exist.
We have Win 95, XP and 2000 workstations and a 2000 server and it seems to be happening on all operating systems but not all of the PCs.
Does anyone know if there is somewhere that these login scripts are cached, either locally or on the server, where they could be runnning from? It doesn't even happen every time the workstations involved run the scripts - just every now and again.

All 2000 systems are Dc's that means they all should be replicating to each other. If they are not set up properly the replication will not take place. Do you have active directory set up??
