Logging netstat

Microsoft Windows xp home edition sp2b

Specs: Windows XP
I noticed that my computer was using a lot of bandwidth even when it should have been. I tried using "netstat -o>c:\netstat.txt" to see which application was using it, but when I tried that, the netstat window is only open for a fraction of a second and no log is created. Am I doing something wrong?

Yes, you are doing something wrong. You are running it from the run box instead of from a command prompt.

Correct your spacing too.

netstat -o > netstat.txt

Side note: I use -ano for more information.

Thanks. The spacing wasn't the problem, just using the command prompt.
