Hi, wonder if anyne can help?

I'm running a LinkSys WRT54g router off of 192.168.2.1 and a LinkSys ADSL modem (ADSL2MUE) off of 192.168.1.1 both configured using LinkSys's net assit program. Have one machine running XP pro connected by the lan port to the router and everything is fine.

However i am having problems connected using windows 98 SE and a LinkSys WUSB11 newtork adapter. In the WLAN monitor it says that it can connect to the access point/router but that the internet connection cannot be found (connection works fine on the XP machine).

I have done the LinkSys suggestion and set my TCP/IP protocol for the device to DNS enabled and added 192.168.2.1 and 192.168.1.1 in various combinations into the DNS list and still a unable to connect to the internet.

Can anyone help?

TIA

I would disable ICS (internet connection sharing)in the XP PC. Also your router may automatically assign ips. Check with your ISP.
