I have a WPC54G wireless card and a linksys WRT54G wireless router. Sometimes my connection dies and i have to perform varios task sush as, removing the card and putting it back in, refreshing then connecting, exiting the program.
Before I apply those tasks i have to turn off the dsl modem and wait untill all lights are running. Then i have to turn the power of the router and switch it on, wait untill the lights are back on.
For some reason the connection dies. Sometimes because i am idle to long. Sometimes after i reboot. Or sometimes it just dies.

By connection dies do you mean internet (DSL)or network (Wireless NIC)? If it is the NIC, there may be some type of EMI/RFI (ie microwave or anything with a heavy magnet) around your NIC. Good Luck!
