My problem is that when my motorola modem is connected to the wireless router, I am able to connect to the internet thru my wireless laptop, however I am not able to connect to the internet thru my desktop. What setting do I nedd to change? I am a novice at this.

Is the desktop wired or wireless? Run ipconfig /all from a command prompt & post the output.

I had to contact the support unit for the linksys. What I had to do was change my IP address in the router to match the one in my computer.
