We have a Linksys Wireless router being shared by 6 computers in my apartment. It's never given us trouble before, but since we came back for school a few weeks ago, it has gone haywire, it seems. The internet randomly dies up to 20 times a day for random amounts of time. How do I know it's not just my internet connection? Sometimes if we restart the router or unplug it, the internet magically works again. It has been doing this for the last two weeks and we're getting really sick of it. If anyone needs more info, just ask.
Do we need to trash this router and just get a new one? Would updating the firmware fix it? Has anyone heard of this/had it happen before?
