I am setting up a Wireless network for a conference this week. The conference spans a couple different rooms with heavy walls in between. What has been done in the past is that the Access Point Router is set up, and spans as much of the rooms as possible. Then in the further away rooms, an access point is set up that receives the wireless signal. It is hooked into a switch, and another access point is attached to the switch which rebroadcasts the signal. I have not been in charge of setting up the network in the past, and my knowledge of wirless networking is limited. I know that I have to set up the various access points to a certain mode(i.e. Access Point, Access Point Client, Wireless Bridge, or Wireless Bridge to multi-point), but don't know which ones should be set which ways.
If anyone can shed some light on this, that would be great. I need to set up the network tomorrow morning.
