Comment:

I have just spent a frustrating six hours installing a Linksys WMP54G wireless adapter. It connected to my wireless router perfectly, (it said!) but no DHCP & No Internet Gateway. 100% signal and WEP was correct. Eventually I removed the Linksys software including the adapter driver and rebooted. After Windows found the adapter I let it load the driver from the LinkSys CD then I used the Windows wireless software to find available networks, identified my router, connected, entered the WEP key, hey presto! Connected and Internet gateway was there too. Time, about five minutes!
According to Linksys I have the very latest software too, so be aware, very aware. Oh,by the way, the router manafacturer? Yep, LinkSys!
