Setup:
Business VPN Linksys WRVS4400N VPN (uses own VPN Client; many computers on this) to home Linksys Wireless G router (small home network).VPN Client (http://www.linksys.com/servlet/Satellite?c=L_CASupport_C2&childpagename=US%2FLayout&cid=1169083435830&packedargs=sku%3DWRVS4400N&pagename=Linksys%2FCommon%2FVisitorWrapper&lid=3583035830B01&displaypage=download)
Problem:
When trying to connect from home to the VPN it connects but won't allow me to hit any of the boxes on the VPN Network. I've set 1 box to a static IP \\192.168.1.100 and am trying to access it that way in start run.People can at their house, w/o a router like my Linksys G, hit it and see the server so its got to be something with my home setup on my Linksys G.
Any ideas - I've taken the firewall off the G to no avail?
Thanks!,
Chris

Ask the system admin for sure. Some ports and protocols might be getting blocked.
My guess would be that the others get an IP,SNM and gateware assigned that is on the same segment or within the corportate routing.
I read it wrong and answer it wrong too. So get off my case you goober.

I am the system admin - the problem was that I was using the same IP range. 192.168.1.X for both networks. Changed my home to 192.168.2.X and all works. The WRVS4400N needs updated firmware code to work with the new client or so I am told so I will install that tomm to see if it works on Vista. My XP box works fine...

Glad to hear you were able to resolve the problem. I was just about to tell you to check for a network-addressing conflict.
By the way, I would strongly recommend you make the IP scheme change at the corporate side. 192.168.1.x is just waaaay too common to use for business, in my opinion.
Most home routers default to 192.168.1.x or 192.168.100.x.
