I recently installed a Linksys router to my network. After setting up the router I tried to log in. The log in was VERY slow and also any network activity was VERY slow.
If I shut down my hubs, disconnect the router and restart the hubs and connect the router all seems well UNTIL I access the router thru my browser again. This causes the network to SLOW down again. I tried this a couple of times with the same result.
DHCP is disabled on the router. My DNS points at the router.
All works well until I access the router with a browser!
Is this senario possible or is the router causing some other traffic problem for me.
I have managed a NT/Novell network for 10 years now. Never had any problem even remotely similar to this.
All hell broke loose when I installed the Linksys router!
Please offer any suggestions (other than not viewing the router in my browser ..thx)
