Linksys Router Page Incomplete

Comment:
When typing the router's (WRT54GS) IP address to go to the basic setup screen, the page has missing buttons. Therefore setup can not be completed for the router. Update firmware to no avail. Exchanged router and new one is the same. Another PC was tried and the view was correct. I theorize that some IE setting or another program is interferring with the router page. Anyone else have this problem?

Are both copies of IE the exact same version? If not try the same version. You could also try a different browser such as Firefox on the same system.

Are you using XP and a "limited user" account? I found that I had to use an "administrator" equivalent account to set up the router, or else I had the same problem that you are having
Using IE6 on XP home anyways.

No, I am logged in as an administrator. My tech guy says to check the Java settings. I will compare the notebook with my desktop.
