(no docs, just the password on a bit of paper)
i connect to the web using a alcatel speedtouch usb modem, all my pc's have 10/100 and my laptop has 802.11b could anyone point me in the right direction to get this up and running please.
Thanks in advance for any help ))

Use the Linksys Router, it'll be alot easier. Goto the webpage above and get the manual. Reset the router to defaults and follow the instructions.

What's the make and model on your Modem? I haven't seen a usb only modem in a long time. I would double check to make sure there isn't a cat 5 connector on the back. If there isn't and you're leasing the modem from the cable company, I'd call and demand one with an ethernet port.
