Linksys problem

I am trying to set-up a new Linksys WAG354G-UK but it wont conect to my computer! I have tried reseting the router renewing the IP through ipconfig. I have the Internet protocol set to recieve automaticly and the DNS set to recieve automaticly.

The IP address is wrong it says its 169.254.0.0 which I know is wrong for Linksys routers, I have tried going to there site and getting online help from them but noting they suggested worked.

If your computer gets an address of 169.xxx.xxx.xxx, the problem is with the computer not the router.
