Linksys e1000 WiFi N Router setup without cd

Specs: Windows Vista
The router was working fine when it was setup but was disconnected for a short while. There is now no recognition of the router and the install cd was misplaced...

Connect to the router by wire and restart the computer.
After that, click Start / Run and type in CMD and click ok.
In the black command prompt window, type in ipconfig /all
Search the default gateway ip address, it's often, but depends on make and model of the router.

Type this ip address in your favorite browser and press enter.
You should get a login prompt of your router now.

You can download the setup software, which you don't really need, and the manuals (which will tell you how to do things properly) from HERE. However, as you say the router isn't even recognised then you may have hardware issues as well.
