Only a slight problem here. I have the main PC specs above, the linksys router/switch, Xbox and surfboard cable modem. The first thing I had to do was clone the MAC addy of the router to the addy i had registered with blueyonder. All connectivity now works and both the PC and Xbox connect to the internet, however my Xbox connects with the router at 100Mb but the PC is only showing a 10Mb connection. I know the Wan port is only meant to be 10MB but shouldn't the PC and Xbox have a 100Mb connection to each other.

Is your network card 10/100mb or just an old 10mb. A good way to tell is if you have a round port on the card and a telephone type port. But some will only have the telephone one.

in the PC itself is a 10/100 Mb card. When the PC was just connected to the cable modem it showed up in the status as 100Mb but connected to the router its only 10mB.

Check in the properties of your ethernet card in control panel-network and try setting the speed to 100 full or 100 half instead of autonegotiation.
