Hi,
I just purchased the new Linksys VPN router. I want to be able to connect to my home network from a remote Windows 2000 machine. There are no stpes or docs on how do do this. Only Linksys to Linksys VPN
1. public ip address of remote side which goes in remote security gateway, this is the ip address that your isp provides u,
2. your remote lan ip addresses which goes in remote secure group
3.make sure encryption/authentication r the same on both sides
4. key mngmt set to auto which is easier
5. make sure on remote side you r running vpn client software or use the one that comes with w2k, but your gonna have to go microsoft to configure, should be asking for same settings
